Meaning and visual impact:

This work is a rendering of my son skateboarding. The visual is meant to be a somewhat camp art style.

The painting comes with DC shoes advertising royalties (just kidding!).

Technical aspects:

The main medium was acrylic paint to block out the background and draw the image outline and details. The colours are thin layers of oil paint. Believe me when I say that denim jeans are hard to paint.
