Meaning and visual effect:

A monumental work meant to be hung vertically. A boiling cloud of vibrant colours emerging from a dark background. The clouds eventually consolidate into monolithic amorphous structures that are in constant motion. Viewed in person the painting has depth, vibrancy, and movement.

Technical aspects:

From a technical perspective this work employed experimentation with various pigments and chemical reactions to obtain the desired visual effect. A double wide wooden frame was used to stretch the canvas over. The canvas was finished with precise black edges on the double wide frame so a decorative frame is not necessary nor recommended.
